I believe that my creative origins as a filmmaker, graphic designer, and visual storyteller make me a better researcher, and vice versa!  

I think Albert Einstein said it best:  "Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution."

Posters

 

I developed a variety of posters about our research and products.  Posters are a great way to lay out key concepts, research methodology, study results, and accomplishments.

Motion Design  

 

Over the years, I designed a lot of different motion graphics, text animations and logo reveals.  Here is my motion design reel.

UI Design  

 

I had a chance to design a variety of different UIs, including a gesture-based UI in augmented reality. ​

Motion Capture​

 

My early experience and background is in animation and video production, so I created this fun video as part of my Masters coursework in the ATEC program at UT Dallas.  We used the Vicon motion capture system to capture dancers and then transport their movements onto the 3D robot model. Since then, I have used other types of motion capture, like facial motion capture, on different projects.
